Job Summary
JCS Solutions is
seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) Program within the Project Management Office (PMO). The selected candidate will lead and coordinate complex projects and peer review activities, working closely with Department of Defense (DoD) officials, Air Force stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams. This role requires a hands-on, action-oriented leader who can successfully manage multiple projects, drive execution, ensure delivery of high-quality customer solutions, and support mission-critical operations across Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, and the Pentagon.

  What you will do:
  • Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage Air Force and DoD peer review projects and PMO activities.
  • Interface directly with government customers, DoD leadership, and key stakeholders to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with technical and programmatic subject matter experts to develop project solutions, reports, presentations, and customer deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple task orders, functional organizations, subcontractors, and support teams.
  • Monitor project schedules, risks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate project outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance, and quality.
  • Provide hands-on support to develop project documentation and facilitate end-to-end project execution.
  • Lead and mentor staff, balance workloads, and ensure adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Support continuous process improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Contribute to program performance objectives and overall operational success.
  • Participate in special projects and other program activities as assigned.
  • Support operations across AFNCR locations, including occasional travel between Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, and the Pentagon.
What you will bring: 
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • Active DoD 8140 Certification (Security+ CE or higher).
  • Proven experience managing complex projects in a government, defense, or DoD environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource management, and project execution methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

At JCS Solutions, compensation is based on a number of factors such as location, qualifications, and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $130,000 to $142,000
