JCS Solutions LLC (JCS) is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in engineering and modernizing enterprise environments, with expertise in both Windows and macOS systems, as well as adept in managing server environments primarily consisting of Linux and Windows operating systems. Additionally, the candidate should possess a strong understanding of cloud concepts, particularly Azure, and cybersecurity principles. The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructures tailored to meet the unique needs of our enterprise clients, with a focus on endpoint and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess client requirements and develop comprehensive solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Design and implement endpoint management strategies for both Windows and macOS platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Oversee configuration and maintenance of endpoint management tools such as SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent solutions to deploy software, enforce security policies, and manage device inventory.
  • Engineer and administer server environments comprising Linux and Windows servers, including virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Implement and manage cloud solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) offerings.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of endpoint and cloud environments, implementing industry best practices and security controls.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing downtime and ensuring system integrity.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve complex issues related to endpoint, cloud, and server environments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate, procure, and integrate hardware and software solutions as needed.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in engineering and modernizing endpoint environments, with proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong expertise in managing server environments, with hands-on experience in Linux (e.g., CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server platforms.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Experience with endpoint management solutions such as SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of cloud concepts, particularly Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing endpoint and cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Desired Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CISM, or CEH)
