JCS Solutions LLC (JCS) is currently seeking a seasoned and highly proficient JAMF Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role demands a minimum of 5 years of extensive experience managing JAMF Pro in large-scale enterprise environments. As a JAMF Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our JAMF infrastructure to support our expanding fleet of macOS devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • JAMF Infrastructure Leadership: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of a robust and scalable JAMF Pro infrastructure tailored to the specific needs of our organization.
  • Policy Development and Configuration Management: Develop and implement comprehensive JAMF policies, configurations, and scripts to ensure consistent and secure device settings, applications, and updates across the enterprise.
  • Patch Management Expertise: Establish and uphold rigorous patch management processes using JAMF, ensuring timely deployment of critical updates and security patches to all managed devices.
  • Software Deployment Oversight: Manage the efficient deployment and licensing of software applications to end-user devices through JAMF Self Service or automated workflows.
  • Security Compliance Assurance: Ensure JAMF configurations adhere to industry best practices and regulatory compliance requirements. Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities on managed devices.
  • User Support and Training: Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users and IT staff on all aspects of JAMF functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Integration and Automation Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate JAMF with existing systems, such as directory services, Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, and asset management platforms. Develop automation workflows to streamline device provisioning, enrollment, and decommissioning processes.
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance and health of the JAMF infrastructure. Identify and resolve performance issues and optimization opportunities to ensure optimal user experience and system reliability.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of JAMF configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning among IT team members.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a JAMF administrator in large-scale enterprise environments, managing extensive fleets of Mac and iOS devices.
  • Expertise in JAMF Pro, including configuration profiles, smart groups, package deployment, and scripting.
  • In-depth understanding of macOS device management principles, including enrollment, configuration, and security features.
  • Experience integrating JAMF with directory services, SSO solutions, and other IT systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and customization.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to JAMF and managed devices.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices, with a focus on endpoint security and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred certifications include JAMF Certified Associate (JCA), JAMF Certified Technician (JCT), or JAMF Certified Admin (JAMF 200).
