JCS is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to perform IT asset management duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function. Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software. Responsible for performing peripheral/device warranty repairs for Dell and Mac devices. Prepares, packages, and delivers IT equipment to and from buildings on main campus and maintains up-to-date records of IT assets deployed. Ensures secure handling and transport of devices to minimize damage or loss. Coordinates and fulfills ad hoc IT equipment requests. Ensures equipment is stored using FIFO methodology, and that storage areas are clearly labeled and compliant.  Always maintains a clean and organized storage room. Performs visual and functionality checks on returned equipment. What you will do:
  • 7 years’ experience in the role of an Asset Team Lead, supporting the oversight of at least $500K or more of IT assets.
  • 5 years’ experience leading a team of 2 or more asset support staff.
  • 5 years’ experience with MS Office 365 (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
  • 3 years’ experience using ServiceNow incidents or equivalent platform.
  • 3 years’ experience overseeing IT assets (i.e., computers, monitors, printers, peripherals etc..) including inventorying, reconciling, keeping up-to-date records, imaging new systems, reimaging existing systems.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong skills in the following key areas including strategic thinking, multi-tasking, time management, planning and executing to a defined schedule.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Must have or be eligible to hold an HHS Public Trust
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT assets in medium to large enterprise environments.
  • Deep knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory, compliance, usage, and decommissioning.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and integration with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Hands-on experience with asset discovery and inventory tools such as SCCM, JAMF, or BigFix.
  • Familiarity with software license management and audit compliance (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel for advanced reporting and reconciliation.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  • Ability to reconcile asset data across systems (procurement, CMDB, endpoint detection, etc.)
